Day 4: The Confession

Every villain has one — a secret they swore they’d keep.

Here’s mine: this song used to make me bitter every time I sang it.

But somewhere between the first demo and the many times I have performed it live, it has shifted.

Now it feels… fun. Free. A little ridiculous in the best way.
I hate to admit it — because it’s not very villain of me — but I laugh when I sing it now.

Maybe that’s growth?
Or maybe that’s just realizing the best revenge is sounding like you’re over it.
