Day 7: The Armor

Every villain needs one — and it goes by many names.
Armor. Thick skin. A sickening outfit that breaks necks.

You can physically put on your armor, because it’s true what they say: what you wear and how you feel affect everything. In fact, the first thing I do before an interview or a networking event is plan — or buy — a new outfit.

But you can also emotionally put on your armor.
Realize that you have inherent self-worth just by existing.
Know that you are someone worth loving — and that the little barbs people throw? They’re just that. Little.

Now, as your local villain, I suggest you adopt both.
Protect your skin, and your internal organs — especially your heart.

7 days until Villain.
